What are the hours of the vineyard?
The Tasting Room: Tuesday – Saturday 11am-9pm, Sunday 11am-8pm
The Bistro: Tuesday – Saturday 12pm-9pm, Sunday 11am-8pm
Mondays: Closed for Fall/Winter Season
Where is the vineyard located?
Our grounds are located at 115 Cow Hill Rd. Clinton, CT 06413. From I-95 take exit 63 and turn onto Route 81 heading North. Drive past the Outlets and take the next possible left turn onto Walnut Hill Rd. (Following the CT Wine Trail sign). Stay straight on Walnut Hill Rd. for one mile, Walnut Hill Rd. will turn into Cow Hill Rd. without a sign. We will be located on the left hand side of the road.
How do your tastings work?
We have reinvented our tastings to better customize your Chamard experience. We now offer a create your own tasting, where you choose three 2oz. pours of any wines on our wine list for $12. If you would like to take a souvenir professionally etched glass home, we offer our stemless wine glasses for $5, and our stemmed wine glasses are $10.
Do I need to schedule a group tasting?
Although our Tasting Room requires no reservation, for groups of 8 or more please give us a call in advance so our staff can properly accommodate your group.
Do I need a reservation for the Bistro?
Do you offer public tours?
Our tasting room in open to the public Monday – Saturday 11am-9pm, Sunday 11am-8pm. We do not offer public tours, you can find more information on our private tours here.
Can I walk through the vineyard?
Our grounds are open when we are open. Feel free to tour the vines and visit our farm gardens as you please!
Do you allow pets?
You are more than welcome to bring your leashed dog to our grounds, they however are not allowed inside the Bistro, Tasting Room, or Patio. The exception being a service dog with harness on.
Do you allow people to bring their own food?
No we do not allow outside food or beverage. We have a full service restaurant, Tasting Room, and Barn that offers food and drinks.
Do you offer beer/full bar?
We proudly serve wines made in right in our wine cellar, but do not offer other alcoholic beverages.
